This year’s Hidden Wounds of War Conference 2024 will be held on Thursday, May 23, 2024 at Grand Valley State University’s Grand Rapids campus. This free, full-day conference is intended for veterans, caregivers, and community professionals as we explore a multitude of topics related to invisible injuries from combat, military, and other related traumas. CEU’s are available for some professionals.
GVSU’s Hauenstein Center, supported by local organizations including West Michigan Veterans Coalition and Kent County Veteran Services, will be hosting this event at Grand Valley State University’s Loosemore Auditorium, located at their Richard M. DeVos Center, 401 Fulton Street West, Grand Rapids, MI 49504.
This year’s conference will focus on Posttraumatic Growth (PTG) featuring keynote presentations and breakout sessions from Richard Tedeschi, Executive Director, and Bret Moore, Deputy Director, at Boulder Crest Institute (www.bouldercrest.org). Other breakout sessions will address topics and resources regarding invisible injuries.
This free, full-day conference includes free parking, with lunch and snacks provided.
